I got such a great response from the first round of images from Carol and Mark’s wedding that I was inspired to post some more. The images are from their 7/19/08 wedding that I was 2nd shooting for killer Seattle photographer Laurence Kim.
The morning featured a traditional Vietnamese ceremony at the home of Carol’s parents and then migrated to the posh settings of the Broadmoor Country Club for the ceremony and reception.
The nearby Arboretum provided a nice locale for Laurence’s fashion shoot portion of his coverage. The sun was high on a beautiful day, there were tons of cute kids running around, the bride and her girls were gorgeous and there were a lot of happy friends and family.

This is the alter in the home of Carol’s parents where the traditional ceremony was held and where impossibly about 150 (or possibly more) people crammed into. Eventually food items were placed and incense was lit before gifts were brought over from the groom’s procession as part of the ceremony. It was also pointed out the the photograph on the right side of the fireplace ledge was the family grandfather watching over the ceremony.
