Bathtub Lighting

If you’ve ever wanted to produce that super hi-key look against a white backdrop, 9 times out of ten the shower is going to be a good bet if you aren’t traveling with portable backdrops and load of lighting equipment.

By bouncing a strobe off of the ceiling or through a white shower curtain, you will wind up with loads and load of both reflected and diffused light. 2 for the price of one and a lot of heavy lifting on 4 AA batteries from a shoe-mounted strobe.

This image was made with one Nikon SB-24 shoe-mounted strobe bouncing off of the ceiling (and everywhere) with another Nikon SB-28 firing through a 43″ white umbrella at eye level and to the left of the camera.
