I recently shot the 50th wedding anniversary party of Eddie and Nancy Moriarty at the Swedish Cultural Center on the east side of Queen Anne in Seattle. It turned out to be a beautiful night with stunning views of Lake Union, the Cascades and Capital Hill and a festive bunch of friends and family.

Shortly after the couple arrived via town car and Eddie Moriarty receiving his boutonniere.

The same father that married them 50 years ago, Father William Treacy, was on hand for some kind words.

Even Washington’s former governor Albert Rosellini was there to celebrate.

And with a bunch of Moriarty kids and nearly 50 zillion cousins, there were no shortage of cute kids running around.

Non-stop entertainment was provided by the Rigatones.

The speeches and kind words were shared with a packed house of very proud and emotive family and friends.
