This Saturday I joined superb Seattle wedding photographer Laurence Kim as wingman for the fun wedding of Carol and Mark. This wedding was notable at the very least because it was actually TWO ceremonies in one fun, but long day.
Carol’s parents are originally from Vietnam and the day started with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony. The food, the ceremony, the traditional gowns, and the HUGE turnout from friends and family led to an absolutely unique experience. There was a WHOLE barbecued pig in addition to homemade Banh Choux… My favorite!!
The Vietnamese ceremony was held at Carol’s parents house in North Seattle
The Broadmoor Country Club provided a fabulous backdrop for the girls to get ready and a great venue for the ceremony and reception.
Before the ceremony Laurence took Carol and Mark down to the Arboretum for a little fashion shoot.

Gorgeous photos! Can’t wait to see the rest. Kip, I’m so glad you were able to join us on our wedding day. You were a calming and positive presence throughout the day. Hope to see you again someday — I’m sure my mom would be happy to feed you!
