Debora and Wes Wedding

I recently had the pleasure of 2nd shooting the Debora and Wes wedding at the Edgewater Hotel for Laurence Kim. It was a crazy weather day shifting from sunny skies to focused downpours to inspiring rainbows before eventually coming full-circle back to a glowing sunset over Elliot Bay.

Par usual when shooting for Laurence, I get the privilege of hanging out with the groom and his boys. Wes and his groomsmen celebrated in style with some manually imported Roberto Cavalli vodka in the Edgewater’s Winslow Room. Good times!

Shoes and Linx

The fashion shoot portion of Laurence’s coverage always proves to be the most exhilarating part of the day as a photographer.

Back at the hotel, I had a moment with the bride in the Beatles Suite prior to the ceremony

And in a funny moment, a man identifying himself as a prince from the royal family expressed that his wife wanted a picture with the bride and her bridesmaids during the formals. Royal family? Kuwait? Saudi Arabia? Hmmm.

Here’s Laurence sharing a light moment after showing the girls a couple of great frames on his LCD

And the money shot from this wedding: A rainbow broke during the dinner portion of the reception. The fisheye was the only lens in the house capable of capturing the entire arc!
