Friend Session"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"flo-entry-content\"><p>Kristi is an <a title=\"Kristi Wright Photography\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kristiwrightphotography.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Austin, TX wedding and portrait photographer<\/a>.\u00a0 Erin is a bad-ass living in NYC.\u00a0 Due to the distance between them, these best friends threw a dart at Seattle to spend some long overdue time catching up, checking out my city and having fun like only two best friends can.\u00a0 We had ambitious plans on where to photograph that got slightly curtailed by some fast-moving inclement weather, but we did manage to cover most of what was on our agenda.\u00a0 The Alki beach cruiser bicycles will have to wait until the next visit!<\/p>\n<p>We just barely made it to Pike Place Market before the vendors where closing up shop for the day.\u00a0 <a title=\"Romantic Seattle French restaurant\" href=\"http:\/\/www.maximilienrestaurant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Maximillien<\/a>, one of my personal favorite restaurants, were <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">sly<\/span> kind enough to let two gorgeous ladies and a photographer commandeer the upstairs for a couple glasses of <a title=\"Bubbles\" href=\"http:\/\/www.feuillatte.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Nicolas Feuillatte<\/a>.\u00a0 They wanted to see the famous gum wall &lt;sigh&gt;, but I got a unique spin on this clich\u00e9 Seattle photo&#8230; Thanks Erin &#8211; You are c-c-cold!\u00a0 The next chapter in our story was to try and get on the Alki boardwalk, but dark &amp; stormy rolled in fast.\u00a0 A couple of skyline pics and we had to run for cover.<\/p>\n<p>By the time we made it over to the Ballard area, I could see the clouds breaking and a last sliver of daylight exiting stage left.\u00a0 It was nice to spend 15 minutes roasting marshmallows and warming ourselves in the company of a roaring bonfire at Golden Gardens.\u00a0 Kristi likes her marshmallows crispy!\u00a0 The girls hadn&#8217;t eaten since breakfast or something so we headed to <a title=\"King's Ballard\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kingsballard.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">King&#8217;s Hardware<\/a> for a little hipster flair served with our gnosh and beverages.\u00a0 A frat boy fight next to the skee ball tables nearly happened.\u00a0 Our server anti-flirted hard.\u00a0 Patron shots definitely happened.<\/p>\n<p>I love these girls and had so much fun.\u00a0 Thank you so much.\u00a0 And thank you for the Twitter DM&#8217;s telling me you cry when you watch the
