Columbia Tower Club Wedding Photography
Wedding photographers love rainy days. A rainy day lends atmosphere and a particular beauty to wedding photographs, such as this candid, close moment between the grooms at the Columbia Tower Club in Seattle. And a Seattle day it was.
The grooms got ready at the Arctic Club Hotel, took rainy day portraits inside at the nearby Seattle Art Museum and held their ceremony at Epiphany Parish of Seattle, which is located less than two blocks from the former home of Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. The duo also enjoyed all-day transportation by British Motor Coach before arriving at the striking downtown Columbia Tower Club, where they celebrated their nuptials on top of the world – on the 77th and 78th floors, to be exact.
The Columbia Center is now the tallest skyscraper in the Seattle skyline as well as the tallest building throughout the state of Washington. I enjoyed the rich uplighting in both the Columbia Room for dinner and in the Washington room for the cocktail hour and reception, which made for more memorable wedding photographs, and every guest took in views for days and days of the Cascade mountains, Safeco Field and Century Link Field, Mt. Rainier, downtown Seattle, Elliot Bay, the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
This inspired, luxurious event space is truly designed for celebrating the best days and best moments. No one was down on this rainy day, rather, we were all sky high in the Emerald City to celebrate an amazing and very happy couple.
Mega thanks to Kimberly and Loren from Alante in electing to have me accompany Loren on this killer day.Location: 701 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104.
