SoDo Park Wedding Photography
This is one of my favorite photos of the day from one of my favorite wedding venues -- Sodo Park by Herban Feast in Seattle offers so many incredible opportunities for unique and memorable wedding photography.
A very industrial Seattle neighborhood, SoDo offers gritty textures, unusual elements and a one-of-a-kind option for creative wedding portraits such as this shadowed view of the bride’s face on her wedding day. The location also creates the perfect mood for black and white shots as well as a blend of the serious and the whimsical.
The wedding took place at Sodo Park by Herban Feast, which is an award-winning spot that blends historical significance with true modern elegance to create charm, space and warmth for both weddings and wedding photography. The event site is housed in a repurposed century-old factory that boasts vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, reclaimed lighting, and a memorable combination of the new with the rustic – it lends couples something old, something new, something borrowed and something true. A full-service space, Sodo Park also offers amazing catering, gorgeous floral services, photo booths, valet parking and more.
I love the wealth of inspired, artistic opportunities this unique space creates for unforgettable Sodo Park wedding photography. I also love how the bride’s eyes are the focus of the portrait – if the eyes are the window to the soul, then this photo highlights sweet thoughts and big dreams on her wedding day. I will never forget this space and I will never forget this special day.Location: 3200 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134.
