April + RyanQueen Anne EngagementSeattle, WA

Please meet April + Ryan as I joined them for their Queen Anne engagement session. I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do. I joined the lovely couple at their new home in Queen Anne, my much-loved and former stomping grounds. From there we cruised up and down Dexter Avenue to hit some spots that have long been on my radar from constantly jogging or cycling by.

There’s no muss or fuss here… The connection between these two was easy, breezy and palpable. Sometimes I need to interject some ideas of how to “pose” together whilst other times, as in this case, it’s as simple as letting a couple be together.

Please also let me share a MAJOR thank you to the Fabulous Fashion and Senior Portrait Photographer Michelle Moore for introducing me to these two. Michelle and April are BFF’s from way back in the day. I can’t wait to join these two in Spokane this August as their friends and families come together to celebrate their union.

Can’t wait to spend more time with these two as they get get hitched later this summer. Get at me to shoot a Queen Anne engagement any ol’ time.

Jenny + Juan and I rendezvous’d at the Quad on the lovely grounds of the University of Washington. It was an early spring day and we were hoping for cherry blossoms, but had to settle for some fun together instead. No worries.

We had a great time exploring the campus before heading over to my neighborhood of Ballard and ultimately ending at Golden Gardens along the lovely Puget Sound. They are a fun and lovely couple and I am licking my chops at the prospect of getting to photograph their wedding. Thank you for the fun times guys!

All these images were made on my Contax 645 medium format film camera with Kodak Portra 400, Kodak BW400cn in the Nikon F100 or Fuji fp-3000b instant film and were processed in Lehi, UT by the FIND Laboratory. Enjoy and happy Friday!
